About the Event:
Hosted by SCEU in partnership with the [Dori Pap and the XXX team] at Georgia Tech University, Beyond Linear will be an opportunity to gather and discuss:
What is missing in social change education?
What is the role of systems and complexity educators in filling any gaps?
How might we collaborate and learn from each other while in this space?
This event will be designed for educators of any level (pre-K, K-12, college, graduate, and post-graduate), leaders, facilitators, thought partners, and others interested in this space.
What to Expect:
Wednesday, March 10 - 12pm to 8pm
An optional experience (capped at 40 attendees) where the Georgia Tech team will take participants to visit Global Growers Network and experience a meal prepared by the Refugee Women’s Network
Thursday, March 11 - 9am to 8pm
Time for plenary sessions, concurrent exchanges, and opportunity to reflect and synthesize
Breakfast, community lunch, & an evening networking reception
Friday, March 12 - 9am to 3pm
Time for workshops, teaching, gallery walk, and plenary sessions
Breakfast, community lunch, & closing reflections
If you stay in Atlanta Friday evening, we will convene a pay-your-own dinner gathering in the evening, if you’d like to join!

Cancellation Terms:
If your registration is cancelled before January 1, 2027, your full registration fees will be returned to you. If your registration is cancelled between Jan 2 and February 11, half of your registration fees will be returned to you. Cancellations received after February 11, 2027 are non-refundable.

Costs & Logistics
Beyond Linear will be hosted at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business (800 W. Peachtree St. NW Atlanta, GA 30308).
Attendees will be responsible for finding their own accommodations, as well as transportation to and from the venue.
Registration for Beyond Linear includes breakfast, lunch, & an evening reception on March 11 and breakfast & lunch on March 12.
For those who opt-in to attend the March 10 site visit, a catered dinner will be provided.
