What if educators had the community and tools to teach for complexity, not just within it?

We’re building a global movement to help educators connect, experiment, and evolve systems change education — together.

I want to be part of that!

As educators, changemakers, and systems thinkers, we already feel the pressure.

We’re teaching and leading amid rapid systems change fueled by areas with chronic underfunding, the rise of AI, mental health crises, cancel culture, environmental stress, and violence and polarization impacting global populations.

Yet many of the systems we work within still behave as if problems are simple and linear — as if the same thinking that created these challenges can somehow solve them. As if fighting harder will fix everything.

Yet, we know, fighting harder only creates more fight. It’s not a problem solving approach — it’s a acceleration. We need to shift gears.

Read Our WHY Message

The linear approach to change isn’t serving us. It isn’t serving those we educate for and with. And it isn’t serving our collective futures.

What if you found a place purpose-built for you?

Imaging connecting with educators around the world who get it —who understand the weight you're carrying and the complexity you're navigating.

Imagine learning from peers who are also doing this work — sharing what’s working in their context, and accessing tools and frameworks to educate for these times.

We don’t need another professional development requirement or another item on our to-do lists. What we need is community — a movement. A place where educators can grow together as the agents of change these times demand.

We're building a global community for educators and systems change practitioners who are ready to move beyond linear thinking and influence change in their education offerings and beyond, together.

Introducing

Systems. Change. Educators. Unite.

This community understands that the crises we're facing aren't simple problems to solve—they're symptoms of deeper system dynamics. We are uniting educators who are ready to learn how to contribute to shifting those systems, in their classrooms and far beyond, and the tools and practices to help their students do the same.

The future of humanity, this planet, and of education require systems-aware, self-aware, and impact-focused educators who, in turn, support the development of those mindsets and skill-sets among their students and clients.

By connecting and learning together we can not only fuel our own personal growth and capacities as educators, but also our individual and collective capacity to accelerate systems change contributions in a world in need of ethical, impact-focused, leaders.

And we're starting with a 6-month pilot—a taste test of something that could become much bigger.

If there's enough demand and interest in these first six months, we'll launch this as a non-profit and scale it globally. But right now? We're inviting a founding cohort to help us build it, shape it, and see if we can prove that educators need and want this kind of community.

This isn't about adding more to your plate. It's about finally having the support, tools, and community to do the work you're already trying to do—but more easily, and not alone.

This is a 6 month experience for changemakers at the front of the wave.

What’s On Offer

A six-month pilot designed for educators navigating complexity.

  1. Access to a learning community for educators from around the world with workshops, networking, and resource sharing opportunities.

  2. Research and a platform to share what educators need, want, and can offer in these complex times.

  3. A home to share global systems change education efforts and a place for them to connect, cross-promote, co-learn, and co-create.

What You’ll Get

A learning community that fits your life.

This pilot will start with offering three calls every month, designed to fit into your life.

  • Drop-In Peer Mastermind Sessions:

Bring what's going on for you. No prep required. Just show up, share your challenges, and think through them in small groups with peers who get it.

  • Facilitated Conversations on Timely Topics:

Things like "teaching in an AI world" or "navigating polarity in the classroom." No prep, just show up and engage with what matters right now. (These are recorded in case you can't join live but want to watch it later.)

  • 1-2 Presentations Each Month

Learn directly from educators bringing systems thinking into their classrooms, or working on systems change in their organizations and communities. (These too will be recorded so you can watch them live or on your own time.)

Here's just a taste of what's coming:

Tracy Benson, former Director of the Waters Center for Systems Thinking, will show you how she brings systems thinking practices to everyone from kindergartners to corporate executives

Nicole Swedlow will share how to use the Sustainability Compass as a systems thinking tool that frames social impact through sustainability

Paul Heidebrecht will share how he and his team at the University of Waterloo integrate government understanding into systems change work—helping social innovators work with and through government, not around it

Elinor Bray-Collins, Sara Hassan, Isabel Sousa, & Stephen Stockton will present on the practices that have fueled Humber College’s success at bringing systems education to hundreds of students across their polytechnic including a program that spans three continents

Daniela Papi-Thornton will lead a workshop on tools for complex times, presenting frameworks that help you navigate and understand the complexity of the current moment

Sliding scale financial support available for those who come from emerging economies, chronically underfunded institutions, or other areas of need—we're committed to making this accessible. Reach out if you need this.

Right now, the world needs educators who understand complexity. And right now, educators need each other.

We're launching the Educator Community at our gathering in Iowa this November, and we're inviting you to be part of the founding cohort—the educators who will shape what this community becomes.

This is your chance to stop going it alone. To find your people. To get the tools, frameworks, and support you need to become the educator these times demand.

And to help build something that could serve thousands of educators around the world.

If enough of us say yes to these first 6 months, we'll prove there's demand for this work. We'll build the non-profit. We'll help it reach globally. And you'll have been there from the beginning.

The systems we work within haven't caught up to the complexity we're facing. But together? We can change that.
