We are standing inside a threshold. Liminal, from the Latin limen, doorway: the old room left, the new one not yet entered.
An age is a shared answer to the question of what a person is. The Enlightenment answered: a person is a mind. Our schools, our org charts, our idea of merit were all built on top of that answer. It is expiring, in part because we built machines that do it faster and cheaper than we do.
The next answer is that a person is a relationship. From the self that absorbed its worldview to the self that relates by choice. From identity as a noun to identity as a verb.
In this 90-minute experiential session, which will include breakout rooms, we will cross that threshold at the one point any of us has access to: ourselves.
