What It Takes To Change A System with John Kania

Join SCEU for an interactive workshop with John Kania who will take us through his learning journey from being a co-founder of the collective impact movement into his current passion: "healing systems" work. This session will explore what it took for John to move beyond a belief that systems change could come from structural re-design into his belief that "healing" is a fundamental component of change which, if overlooked or misunderstood, becomes a blocker to such change.

This presentation will take place in three parts with breakout conversations between them providing a chance to both learn from John while also reflecting on how his learning journey might inform your own.

John Kania is Executive Director of Collective Change Lab, a nonprofit that develops new approaches to collaboration and systems change. He is a leading thinker on collective impact, systems leadership, and the relational work of creating social change.
