How Can Systems Frameworks be GUIDEing? with Diane Finegood

Michael Quinn Patton’s GUIDE framework (Guiding, Useful, Inspiring, Developmental and Evaluable) was designed for principles. This session will explore whether the GUIDE framework can be applied to the plurality of systems frameworks and will explore the developmental and evaluable sides of some of the frameworks in the Complex Systems Frameworks Collection.

About Diane:

Diane Finegood is a Fellow in the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue and Professor of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University.  Her career has spanned a broad range of disciplines and leadership roles.  From 2017-2023, she had the privilege to serve as a faculty lead for the Semester in Dialogue.  Diane is internationally recognized with scholarly work in a range of disciplines including pathogenesis diabetes, application of mathematical modeling to physiological systems, cross sector partnership, knowledge mobilization, systems thinking and complex adaptive systems.
